This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This is a notice that this is a lowest price technically acceptable procurement, that is total set-aside for Small Business. Only quotes submitted by Small Business will be accepted by the government.� Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not Small Business will not be considered for award. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-02 effective 3/16/2023. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The FAR clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses http://www.acquisition.gov/far/. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking to issue a firm fixed price contract with for the State of Michigan FY23 Spring Repairs as described in the Training Ship State of Michigan (TS SOMI) Spring Repair Statement of Work (SOW) and Drawings, Vendor Price Sheet � Attachment 2, Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses � Attachment 3 and E-Invoicing Requirements and Department of Labor Wage Determination � Attachment 4. Quoters are required to submit pricing for all materials, equipment and labor required to complete the work on the vendor price sheet, Attachment 2.� Site Visit: A site visit at the Great Lakes Maritime Academy located at 715 E. Front St., Traverse City, MI 49686 can be arranged by contacting the Contracting Officer, Bridget Bonnecarrere at bridget.bonnecarrere@dot.gov prior to March 24, 2023.
