Description
NOTICE:� This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information (RFI) to determine if any responsible sources exist capable of providing a rental space that meets the Government's needs within the specifications and schedule listed below.��The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies Background: Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) requests rental space for the NNSY Career Fair. Rental space shall be approximately 10,000 sq/ft or greater and capable of hosting up to 1,200 people (including parking for 800 vehicles) during the hours of 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST to allow sufficient time for set up and take down. This requirement is for three different dates and locations: Anticipated Place of Performance: Raleigh, NC Baltimore, MD Richmond, VA Anticipated Periods of Performance: Saturday, 20 May 2023 Saturday, 15 July 2023 Saturday, 16 December 2023 Performance Schedule: Work shall be performed during NNSY Career Fairs, which are on Saturday with working hours (0700-1600) EST, and may be performed in stages to be determined between USFFC, NNSY and the contractor. To include non-job fair Saturday�s at the contractor�s location. Scope: Venue space shall be approximately 10,000 sq/ft or greater and capable of hosting up to 1,200 people.� The venue is required to provide the list of items below: Forty-seven (47) tables with linens and Two (2) chairs per table; Six (6) interview areas, each with the following dimensions: At least 8� wide/8� depth/10� height will be provided within one area with privacy barriers separating each interview area.� The sides will be the same height as the back to create privacy between each booth; and Six (6) tables with three (3) chairs per table in each interview area.� Electrical outlets needed for each interview area. Eight (8) registration tables with Two (2) chairs each required. Area must be equipped with wireless internet connection for a maximum of thirty-one (31) laptops.� Electrical power cords and outlets access is required to support laptops and NNSY Code 900 mock ups. (Mock ups translate to a table demonstration or tools on the table for the applicant to describe what it is and how it is used). Venue to provide all access, custodial services, utilities, and personnel needed to maintain the facility operations during the career fair.� Bathroom facilities will need be conveniently located next to the Career Fair area and be secured from the general public. Venue shall have a dedicated and reliable testing area to meet the following requirements needed for NNSY to conduct pre-employment medical requirements such as but not limited to: Physical Agility Testing, Physical, and Respirator Fit test based on the job title/trade and Medical Surveillance Program Codes Vendor shall include cost of parking at venue site (approximately 800 throughout the day). Food service is not required; however, water service is requested. Venue to provide Security personnel for job fair (Two (2) personnel for eight (8) hours each). The Venue must have and meet the following requirements needed for NNSY to conduct pre-employment drug testing: The collection site/restroom must have a means for the donor to wash his or her hands prior to and after urination. The collection site/restroom must be secured from unauthorized access during the process. The collection site/restroom must have the ability to secure toilet if equipped with an automatic flushing system. (ONLY reserved for drug testing applicants). A work area used by the collector to handle the specimens and to complete required paperwork (e.g., Federal CCF). Work area must be large enough for two work tables, three chairs; and floor space to accommodate about 10 boxes that will hold sample jars. The collector work area should be external to the restroom where the collection occurs; however, it may be inside the restroom, if the donor still has privacy while providing the urine specimen.� The work area must be clean and not accessible to the donor. The collection site/collector must have an appropriate secure temporary storage area for maintaining specimens until they are transferred to an HHS-certified test facility. (The contractor (collector) responsibility). The specimen storage area should not be exposed to high temperatures for an extended period of time, as this may affect the test results of a urine specimen. Market Survey: Please provide specifications and layouts of the proposed venue to include a narrative on how it will meet the Government's additional space & equipment requirements.�� Please state your business size (small or large) based upon the NAICS Code and confirm that you are registered in SAM and accept invoicing through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).� Confirm separately that the Government will be able to secure restrooms for the drug screening portion and that automatic toilets can be disabled.� Please confirm separately that the parking portion of the requirement can be met and if any additional costs would be incurred. Please provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for the cost of each proposed location as well as alternate availability.
