Description
The Engineering Department at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073 is seeking to purchase 40x Eaton brand battery jars that require replacement in the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for the Siemens MRI in building 507. Services required include battery replacement, performance verification, inspection of cables, hardware, electronics, housing, and disposal of old batteries in accordance with EPA approved regulations.�� All interested companies shall provide quotations for the items listed in Section B of the RFQ Attachment, Page 4. Services Background The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHCS) requires qualified personnel to perform battery replacement for the Siemens MRI, located in building 507. The services shall comply with this Performance Work Statement (PWS), all VA, local, state, and Federal policies, and regulations. Objective The objective of this service contract is to have a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, travel, and qualified personnel to accomplish this requirement outlined in this PWS. Scope Contractor is responsible for all subcontractors required to complete reports. All work shall be performed during normal hours unless otherwise approved by the COR or his/her designee. This requirement request is to replace the UPS MRI batteries, Bldg. 507. 40x Eaton brand (Manufacturer) battery jars. EE# 176155, Model # 9390-100-160, Serial # EE493CBB03 Performance verification. Inspect cables, hardware, electronics, and housing unit. Dispose of old batteries in accordance with EPA approved regulations. NOTE:� Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13.� Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government.�� The following are the decision factors: Lowest Price and Past Performance. The award will be made to the response most advantageous to the Government. Responses should contain your best terms, conditions. To facilitate the award process, all quotes must include a statement regarding the terms and conditions herein as follows: ""The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document without modification, deletion, or addition.""
