- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference: N00244-22-Q-0091. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government needs, to: Contractor Name and Address: Droplet Measurement Technologies 2400 Trade Centre Avenue Longmont, CO 80503 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334519; the business size standard is 500 (number of employees). The objective of this sole source award is to provide the Naval Post Graduate School - Department of Meteorology maintenance and repair of several fog droplet sensors, the Droplet Measurement Technologies Fog Monitor - 120 (DMT FM-120). Technical Requirements: 1) Contractor will receive FM-120 instrumentation at their location for FM-120 inspection and evaluation. They will determine necessary repairs to ensure working order of the FM-120 and communicate to TPOC. 2) Contractor will conduct repair and maintenance on FM-120 to achieve sensor is able to measure water droplets within manufacturer specification on data sheet. 3) Contractor will perform glass bead calibration on the FM-120 instruments and provide calibration sheet for providing bin settings when initializing the FM-120. Contractors interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that demonstrates ability to provide the requested supply and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide ArcGIS Educational Site License products and proof as being an authorized distributor of the product. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
