Description

PAVING SYNOPSIS: The work requirements to be performed by the contractor consists of, but are not limited to, various repairs and/or complete reconstruction of various street and parking lot pavements at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work will be released to the successful contractor in work packages via individual task orders. �The government reserves the right to utilize in-house forces to accomplish work on base street pavements; however, the government guarantees that all task orders for street and parking lot pavement work will be awarded to the contractor, except for those instances where government in-house forces are used. �Unit prices will be taken from Base Year (year one) and two (2)� Option Years. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) Portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) milling of asphalt and installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) curbs & gutters, 5) sidewalks, 6) swales, 7) surveying, and 8) other pavement related work.
