Industry Day, Libby Dam - Transformer T-1 Refurbishment Location: USACE � Libby Dam 260 Souse Gulch Road Libby, MT 59923 DATE: 22 February 2023� TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mountain time The United States Army Corps of Engineers - Seattle District (NWS) is hosting an Industry Day on 22 February 2023 to provide additional information on an upcoming requirement for a large civil works project valued between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 to refurbish and commission Transformer T-1. This Industry Day will provide the only opportunity for a site visit to get an overview of the Libby Dam. Another opportunity will not be available until the solicitation period.� Please refer to related notice�W912DW-23-R-0003 - Libby Dam T-1 Transformer Rehabilitation Sources Sought Announcement - Sources Sought for additional information about this requirement. Please advise the Government points of contact, Contract Specialist, Shane Jervis (shane.e.jervis@usace.army.mil) and Project Manager, Mamie Brouwer (Mamie.S.Brouwer@usace.army.mil) of your plan to attend the industry day not later than 13 January 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time. Late respondents, those not pre-registered, or those not providing the correct information will not be granted access to the site. Participation is limited to two representatives from each interested entity. Additionally, please respond to the questions provided in the attached document titled: ""LD T-1 Industry Day - Questions"".� All industry day attendees may submit answers to the questions via e-mail.� Answers may also be provided to the Government points of contact via e-mail prior to the industry day. ATTENDING THE INDUSTRY DAY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SINCE IT IS UNLIKELY THAT AN ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT WILL BE OFFERED. The industry day is open to the vendor community of prime contractors and significant subcontractors who plan to submit a proposal on the work described in the draft specifications. The industry day will take place on 22 February 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Libby Dam, 260 Souse Gulch Road, Libby, MT 59923 DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, ONLY TWO (2) PERSONNEL PER COMPANY MAY ATTEND THE INDUSTRY DAY. USACE REQUESTS THAT ONLY CONTRACTORS PREPARED TO PROVIDE A PROPOSAL FOR THE SOLICITATION ATTEND THE INDUSTRY DAY. If you are a significant subcontractor, you must indicate in your response which firm(s) you are intending to partner with to bid the work to gain access to the site. � Please ensure you bring your official Government picture identification to present to security to gain entry to the site and powerhouse. Required personal protective equipment for the site visit includes face masks, hard hat, safety vest, and safety boots/safety shoes. If you attend and do not have all required documents or personal protective equipment, you will not be granted access to the site. In-processing begins for all vendors at the main entrance. When you approach the gate, you will be required to present photo identification and state that you are attending the �Libby Dam Transformer T-1 Industry Day�. Your name will be checked against the pre-registered attendees� list before entry is permitted. You will then be directed to the Administration Building where you will park your vehicle for the entirety of the site visit. Libby Dam and USACE Construction staff will direct you to the conference room for the safety briefing and project overview prior to proceeding to the powerhouse. Your safety gear will be inspected before entry into the powerhouse. Participants may be divided into groups of six individuals depending on the number attending.
