- Source Sought General Information ����������� Document Type:� Source Sought������ ����������� Solicitation Number: W912BV23X0VI2 ����������� Posted: 23 March 2023 ����������� Current Response Date:� 4:00pm CT on 31 March 2023 ����������� Classification Code: 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing Title:� Canopy Replacement (Gate#12), RS KERR Lock & Dam This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.� Respondents will be notified of the results of the evaluation upon request. CONTRACT INFORMATION:� U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District (Corps) is planning to issue a Contract for Security System Replacement (Replacement-in-Kind) Nature of Work:� The firm shall be capable of replacing the existing Electronic Access Control System, Security Camera Surveillance System, and Duress Alarm System at the USACE Tulsa District Headquarters. Vendor must: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience Fabricating Structural Metal Buildings and Components Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Structural Welding (Preference: aluminum) Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management Place of Performance: �Work includes the fabrication and assembly of an aluminum canopy measuring 14�x 21�. Design shall be comparable to the existing canopies for the protection of the machinery on the work platform. The contractor shall furnish all services, materials, labor, formwork, equipment, permits, supplies, supervision, and travel. The canopy will be delivered to and assembled at Robert S. Kerr Marine Terminal, 460360 E. 1137 Rd, Sallisaw, OK 74955. The contractor shall provide 48 hour notice prior to delivery. Estimated Completion of Fabrication, Delivery, and Assembly onsite with 8 Weeks from date of award. The Contractor shall be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of an aluminum canopy measuring 14�x 21� and design be in accordance with provided drawings. The use of neoprene isolation gaskets should be utilized when dissimilar metals are adjoined. Canopy roof shall not leak and will utilize a gutter and spout system to drain water. The canopy will use four aluminum posts to anchor to the support structure and feature stainless steel lifting eyes in four locations on top. Design of the new canopy will be reviewed and approved by the Government before fabrication. The contractor will be responsible for field verifying measurements to utilize the original bolt pattern used to anchor the structure to the support beams. No electrical work required in contract. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing which has a small business size standard of 500 Employees. 14 April 2023, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about 14 April 2023.� The official announcement citing the solicitation number will be issued on SAM at www.sam.gov. Firms� response to this announcement shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information: 1.� The Government is requesting that members of the Business Community interested furnish the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address. 2.� Firms interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3.� Type of Small Business Community member (Small Business (SB), Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDV(SB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 332312.� 4.� Is the firm capable of meeting the requirements described in the draft SOW?� 5.� Please provide (3) examples demonstrating experience providing Structural Metal Fabrication and Welding supporting for federal, state, or municipal from the last five years. Include name, address, telephone number, email address of references, contact number, total contract value, and period of performance.� Contracts must be same or similar to work described in this announcement.
