- SOURCES SOUGHT:� THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.� In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District is conducting market research to determine domestic availability of a Single Zone Mini Ductless Split System - 1 to 4 Ton.� Mini Ductless Split System units must be designed to maintain the room's temperature between 68 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit during the heating and cooling season respectively. Units must be able to operate 24 hours a day and seven days a week.� The split system will have a stand alone thermostat located in the room, and a stand alone alarm if the unit is not functioning.�� The Mini Ductless Split Systems must also adhere to the following requirements: Energy Star rated; 410A refrigerant;208/230V -1 Ph - 60 Hz; outdoor condensing unit (heat pump); single zone; inverter technology; low ambient cooling and heating; auto restart; condensate pump option; 24 hour timer; manufacturer's warranty - limited 2 year parts and 5 year compressor. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code are 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. In order for the Mini Ductless Split System to be considered manufactured in the United States, all manufacturing processes must take place in the United States and the cost of components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States must exceed 60 percent of the cost of all the components.� Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind for which nonavailability determinations have been made are treated as domestic.
