Description

�The purpose of this RFI is to gather comments and potential sources for heavy maintenance for the A-10 fleet (260 aircraft).� The scope includes recurring inspection, repair, and replacement of structural items across the entire aircraft as well as Avionics and Mechanical Systems repairs, updates, and component replacements.� This includes both scheduled and drop-in maintenance, Time Compliant Technical Order (TCTO) requirements, Contract Field Team (CFT) Support, full strip, paint, and corrosion prevention coating restoration.� The nacelles, horizontal, verticals, wing center and outer panels are all removable to facilitate maintenance activities.� The associated interfaces are interchangeable and replaceable (MIL I-8500) controlled by tooling or dimensional tolerances.
