Description
The 410th CSB, Theater Support Contracting Office (TSCO) is posting this �Sources Sought� to assist with locating Contractors to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary of a Husbandry/Port Agent to down load/upload the Landing Craft Utility (LCU) at the Port of Santana in Macapa, Brazil and to perform Line Haul and Customs Broker Services that will be defined in a Performance Work Statement (PWS) once a solicitation is posted. Specific Tasks: The Contractor shall provide ARSOUTH a Husbandry/ Port Agent to facilitate the Down Load for deployment and Up Load for Redeployment of the LCU Army Water Craft. The Contractor shall contract Material Handling Equipment (MHE) pier side at the Macapa Port of Santana for both Deployment and Redeployment. The Contractor shall handle all Tariff and Customs Broker services to include all documentation for the cargo to enter and depart the country of Brazil and entering and exiting the Port of Santana. The Contractor shall provide line haul services, drivers to be able to download, upload and transport 20ft containers safely and expeditiously from Port of Macapa to desired destination in Macapa. The Contractor shall provide MHE at both the port and drop off destination. The Contractor must be able to Down Load and Up Load Containers from flatbeds. Once the training exercise is complete, the line haul company will transport the cargo back to origin. Minimum MHE required will include but not be limited to: Dates: 8-13 Oct 23 & 27-30 Oct 23 One 20 Ton crane to offload 20ft containers. One 10 Ton forklift weight capacity to upload flatbed trucks at Sea Port of Debarkation (SPOD) and one 10 Ton forklift to offload and move equipment. Prime Mover/flatbed trucks X 5 to move containers and equipment. 10 Ton forklift weight capacity to offload C17.
