- Sources Sought Notice for information purposes only:� This is a Sources Sought notice seeking interested vendors for� troubleshooting and repair services on an Aircraft Cargo Door and Rail Trainer (ACDRT) for the C-17 Training System (TS) located at Joint Base Lewis McChord Air Force Base (AFB), Tacoma, WA 98438.� This is not a request for quotes, proposals or an invitation for bids. �The C-17 Training System (TS) Program is conducting market research to support development of an acquisition strategy for the repair or refurbishment of the ACDRT.�� The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources who are able to provide the identified service needed to meet agency�s identified requirements. The requirement will be split into two phases:� Phase 1 will cover troubleshooting of the inoperative ACDRT.� The tasks required include disassembly, damaged parts assessment�and to provide the solution (new parts required and/or old parts repaired).� Upon troubleshooting completion, the vendor shall provide a proposal for an optional Phase 2 that will include a list of supplies needed, rough order of magnitude (ROM), timeline and costs. Phase 2:� Upon receipt of optional phase 2 award, the vendor shall perform the ACDRT repair services to provide a working trainer IAW attached ACDRT Statement of Work (SOW). NOTE:� The Government will not pay for any information requested or demonstrated. All costs incurred responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party�s expense. All submissions become Federal Government property and will not be returned. Failure to respond to this Sources Sought will not preclude participation in any future solicitation. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide supplies with those described in this notice.� All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Approval of a source is required. All responses that include business confidential or proprietary information should be clearly marked. Do not include any classified information. Submissions are subject to the Freedom of Information Act once posted on https://sam.gov/?.� Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by April 12, 2023 no later than 1:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
