Description

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a limited competition basis� to Ultra-Electronics ICE, Inc., CAGE Code 5Y111, or Allied Defense Industries, LLC, an authorized distributor, CAGE Code 0GD25, for the procurement of the H-60 Fuel Control Adapter Set, National Stock Number (NSN) 4930-99-993-0894, P/N FST 8040, in support of the following H-60 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs: Australia-QTY-4 Greece-QTY-1 India-QTY-2 Israel-QTY-2 Saudi Arabia-QTY-6 South Korea-QTY-1 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements"" for this action. The H-60 Fuel Control Adapter Set is the only piece of peculiar support equipment to meet the maintenance requirements. No other H-60 fuel control adapter set has been identified that can perform the same functions and that is certified by the U.S. Navy to conduct maintenance on military outfitted H-60 helicopters. The adapter set is required for use with the Fuel Control Test Set to interface with the H-60 aircraft to perform fuel probe testing and fuel indicator testing. It is requested that information be submitted NO LATER THAN 07 April 2023 to Mr. Domenick Davino, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Code BL52000 Bldg 120, Route 547, Joint Base MDL, NJ 08733-5000, by electronic mail at: Domenick.A.Davino.civ@us.navy.mil. Mr. Davino may be reached at 240-577-8088. Respondents are notified that there is no solicitation package available, and a formal solicitation MAY NOT necessarily result from the RFI. No promise of a contract award is implied and respondents are not being asked to submit cost proposals. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
