Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.� Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends negotiate and award Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0011 to Lockheed Martin Corporation � Missiles Fire Control (LMMFC), Orlando, FL to support the USN requirement to manufacture, test, and deliver qualified Flight Termination System (FTS) and Telemetry (TM) Batteries for use in the common Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Intelligent Test Instrumentation Kit (iTIK) utilizing qualified Government Furnished Property (GFP) NiMH battery cells.� This synopsis is for informational purposes only. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the LRASM, and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner. �Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Lockheed Martin via the Lockheed Martin Supplier Wire, a dedicated site for suppliers, at www.lockheedmartin.com/enus/suppliers.html or Ms. Lisa Baumann at (972) 603-0605.� There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
