- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.� As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. Amendmendment 1: Hi, The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Requisition: 336232 Proposed question: Clarification on what the �N� in� 12-12N and 10-10N stands for? SHCS M8 x 12 - 12N, CuNiSi/Si Bronze���� QTY: 200��� SHCS M6 x 10 - 10N, CuNiSi/Si Bronze���� QTY: 530 Response: The end user confirmed that the N is the polish spec for the full thread. �SHCS M8x12, FT, CuNiSi/Si Bronze� and �SHCS M6x10, FT, CuNiSi/Si Bronze� are equivalent specs for these two parts. This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. �Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. Source selection will be based on Lowest Price and Technically Acceptable Method (LPTA). Technical evaluation criteria are as follows: Material certifications. The University will evaluate Offeror�s ability to provide adequate certifications for the component materials. Technical requirement � electropolishing. The University will evaluate Offeror�s ability to perform the required electropolishing on the relevant components. If electropolishing will be subcontracted, the University will evaluate Offeror�s plan to subcontract this work and ensure quality. Please provide a price and lead time quotation by COB 4/5/2023.
