Description
Furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to fabricate, paint, and deliver the miter gates and parts in accordance with plans and specifications. Each set of miter gates contains two leaves. The Demopolis lower miter gates are approximately 69 feet tall and 62 feet wide weighing a total of approximately 451,000 lbs. The Coffeeville lower miter gates are approximately 55 feet tall by 62 feet wide weighing a total of approximately 360,000 lbs. The Demopolis lower miter gates must be delivered by barge to Demopolis Lock on a specified date in July 2025. The Coffeeville lower miter gates must be delivered by barge to Coffeeville Lock on a specified date in either July 2026 or July 2027. At both Demopolis and Coffeeville, the Contractor shall be required to take ownership of the old gates and haul them off at the time of delivery of the new gates. At both Demopolis and Coffeeville, the government will offload the new gates and load the old gates onto the barges of the Contractor. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS Code applicable to this requirement is 332312, the small business size standard for which is 500 employees.
