- SOURCES SOUGHT:� THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.� In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service is conducting market research to determine domestic availability of providing a sequencing unit brand name or equal to Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Sequencing Unit Solo PRO-SEQ002. �Salient features of each unit includes: Control Expansion Kit, Flow Cell Wash Kit,� Software License & Device warranty, Flow Cell Packs, Ligation Sequencing Kits. High-throughput long-read sequencing platform. Must be capable of running two or more flow cells simultaneously with yields >100 Gb. The device needs to generate read N50s (median read lengths) of 30kb or greater (up to Mb). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing In order for the to be considered manufactured in the United States, all manufacturing processes must take place in the United States and the cost of components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States must exceed 60 percent of the cost of all the components.� Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind for which nonavailability determinations have been made are treated as domestic.
