Description
Requirement:�Linguist Support Services (LSS) II is a highly specialized requirement for translation and interpretation services. As such, the Government may require a certain number of linguists to receive training in Special Skills, which includes, but is not limited to�parachuting, rappelling, fast roping, and other insertion/extraction techniques. If required, the Government will provide the applicable Special Skills training post award. Individuals selected for Special Skills training shall be able to pass the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test (pushups, sit-ups, and 2-mile run) and be able to complete a 3-mile trail hike in under 60 minutes while carrying a 30-lbs. ruck sack. Additionally, the Government will require vendors to possess a final Top Secret Facility Clearance with approved safeguarding at the minimum Secret level as accredited by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) at the time of proposal submittal. Further information related to the specific performance parameters of this requirement is available in Attachment 1 � Statement of Work. USSOCOM�s Special Operations Forces LSS are currently acquired under contract H92222-13-C-0053, which is scheduled to end 14 August 2023. LSS II will be a follow-on effort with a coordinated transition between the existing contract and the new award.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this potential requirement is 541930 - Translation and Interpretation Services.
