- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Site visits can be arranged. Although this is a Small Business set-aside RFI, all submissions will be accepted and reviewed and can be submitted directly at the email location below. This is a 120-hour course that enables a certified airframe mechanic to meet the Federal Aviation Administration requirements of FAR Part 65.81, General Privileges and limitations on the 212 helicopter. At successful completion, the student will be able to troubleshoot, inspect, perform or supervise the maintenance and/or alteration of the Bell Model 212 helicopter, up to but not including major repair or overhaul of the helicopter and its components. This training teaches USAF Flight Engineers (FE)s about the airframe to ensure they have a better understanding of the airframe and the technical experience to complete minor maintenance on the airframe. This training is essential to the development and technical experience to our Aircrew for the 1st Helicopter Squadron. THE VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY TRAINING EQUIPMENT AT THEIS SITE TO INCLUDE BELL 212 HELICOPTER AIRFRAME.�
