This is a ""REQUEST FOR INFORMATION"" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone and email (e) DUNS/SAM UEI number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. This Sources Sought is for the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 and for the Batavia VA Medical Center located at 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 who have a requirement for annual window washing and maintenance from 06/1/2023 to 05/31/2024 with the provision of four (4) option years. A site visit may be included in the official solicitation. All parts, labor, and materials shall be included in the purchase order to perform the requirements below: Annual cleaning services on all windows shall be considered per double hung sash and four (4) to eight (8) faces of glass per window. Removal and reinstallation of sash stops will be required. Storm windows are to be cleaned, screens wiped down, and sills vacuumed. Maintenance and repairs shall be funded/estimated in advance to allow for on-the-job fixes. A report shall be furnished upon completion of annual services that details all repairs made, line-items used and their quantities, and any repairs necessary that could not be completed at the time. A high reach aerial man-lift is required for each facility and shall be provided by the contractor during services. Contractor shall NOT be responsible for movement of any air conditioning units. All work shall be performed under the supervision of an on-site qualified project manager. A qualified project manager shall be defined as an individual who has received on the job training and two (2) years of experience in repairing the types of windows present at the facilities. The vendor, as a company, shall have five (5) years experience cleaning, maintaining, and repairing commercial windows of this facility scale. All parts and labor shall be fully warranted for two (2) years to be free of defects and of acceptable workmanship and five (5) years on new balances. Vendor shall respond to call-in services within four (4) hours and provide a technician within 24 hours of responding to the call-in service. All scheduled services shall be performed during normal business hours 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday unless otherwise granted by the COR. All technicians shall have a 10-hour OSHA approved training and/or a 30-hour OSHA approved training for qualified project managers.
