SDVOSBC Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14)
 

Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build �Expand Pharmacy & Radiology� construction project located at 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Iron Mountain VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision for the Expand Pharmacy & Radiology construction project at the Iron Mountain VAMC. This project shall include, but not be limited to general construction, demolition and removal of existing structures for the Expand Pharmacy & Radiology construction project consistent with provided Drawings and Specification. The project includes an addition to the main hospital (Building 1) to provide additional space for a permanent MRI, expansion of Pharmacy and Police, and other space for support functions. The addition will provide approximately 9,500 GSF of new space, and 4,000 GSF of renovated space on the basement and first floors. Work further includes architectural, structural, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and earthwork. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a �Invitation for Bid� (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in April of 2023. The period of performance is approximately 610 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
