Description
This is a sources sought notice only, not a solicitation announcement. �This is NOT a request for proposals or quotes and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. ��The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center is conducting market research to seek qualified contractors with the facilities, skills, knowledge and resources required to repair the TCAS 1 Processor listed below that would be provided if the USCG proceeded with a contract action. TCAS 1 PROCESSOR P/N:� 805-11900-001 NSN: �6340-01-HS2-7966 Cage Code: 22830 The Original Equipment Manager (OEM) for the TCAS 1 Processors is Extant Aerospace (Cage Code 22830). �Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these repairs are invited to respond to this solicitation. All data for the Repair is proprietary to the OEM. �The USCG does not own, nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawings or other technical data. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact (POC).� Responses should include approximate lead-time for evaluation and repairs.� Please provide the details and terms of any standard warranty included with the product. Please respond to the following questions: (1) Is your company approved by the OEM to conduct the required Repair?� If yes, state what proof you can provide. (2) Is your business a large or small business and how many employees? (3) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emergent business, or a small, disadvantaged business? �(4) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and is your firm certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? �(5) Is your firm a certified hub zone firm? (6) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (7) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned? (8) Is your service listed on the U.S. General Services Administration schedule? After the review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on SAM.GOV. �Responses to this sources sought notice are not adequate response to any future solicitation announcement. �All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. �Responses to this sources sought notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
