- Sources Sought,�Construct New Pavilions Baumholder ****SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY**** This announcement seeks information from industry which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this announcement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. 1. AGENCY: United States Army 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Theater Contracting Command (TCC) 2. NAICS:� 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction 3. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Baumholder, Germany 4. ACQUISITION INFORMATION: The TCC anticipates soliciting and awarding one (1) construction contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 14 and 36. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Estimated Magnitude of Construction: $500,000 to $1,000,000 (Award may be made in EUROs) Performance Period: 360 calendar days from Notice to Proceed Anticipated Award Date: FY23 Quarter 3 Small and Small Disadvantaged Business requirements are waived for this project due to its OCONUS location (Germany) 5. Project Description: The general scope of work includes construction two new pavilions. The first pavilion will be located at the old tennis court on Texas Avenue adjacent to building 8651. The second pavilion will be located south of Old Ironsides Avenue at the edge of the parking lot for building 8125. Work includes removal of tar based bituminous material at Tenn3,�construction of concrete foundation for support posts, and concrete slabs for two�wooden pavilions. Contractor will install waterproof components such as LED lighting,�disconnect switch, receptacles and all electrical wiring and connections as needed for the�pavilions. Construct new electrical distributors at each pavilion and install gutter system�for each pavilion. In addition, the contractor will construct/install two grills one for each�new pavilion and replace material from Tenn3 with soil and then seed the area.� 6. SOURCES SOUGHT: The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of contractors who have the capabilities to complete and perform contracts of this magnitude, and to address any questions, recommendations or concerns from Industry. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among potential pool of responsible contractors. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought announcement. 7. RESPONSES: Commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may be submitted (limited to 4 pages). The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not intended to be a Request for Proposal nor Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It is to request statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein.�Submission of Capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the TCC in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. 8.
