Description
Statement of Work (SOW) Louisiana State-Based Support to NASA SSC Background: The Test Technology Branch is responsible for developing and executing innovative technology partnerships, technology transfer and commercial activities, and the development of collaboration opportunities for NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC). Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), NASA-SSC and the State of Louisiana provide expertise, facilities and other resources to Louisiana companies, academic institutions and other entities for the purpose of developing cutting-edge technology to fulfill and support SSC�s assigned objectives and NASA�s mission goals. Tasks: This section identifies the tasks necessary to fulfill goals and objectives outlined above. Task 1 � Technology Infusion ? Conduct reviews and analyses of the evolving science, technology and application capabilities of the private and academic sectors in the geographic region and identify candidates that may be responsive to the technology needs of SSC. ? Conduct reviews and analyses of other federal and state agency R&D and technology development efforts (e.g. SBIR/STTR, Dual Use) and the resulting products which may address SSC technology needs. Task 2 � Technology Transfer ? Conduct reviews and analysis of NASA-generated innovations which could provide commercial and/or further research and development opportunities to the private and academic sectors in the geographic region. ? Support NASA/SSC T2U and T2X entrepreneurship initiatives in Louisiana. ? Support the SSC New Technology Representative and Software Release Authority to seek licensees for the NASA patent portfolio and software catalog. ? Conduct reviews and analysis of potential private and public sector partners who may be able to support Phase III SBIR/STTR projects generated from SSC activities. Task 3 � Cross-Cutting Technology Review and Analysis ? Conduct �gap� analysis to identify technology barriers that need to be overcome to meet evolving new NASA technology needs. Deliverables: 1) Provide a weekly activity report no later than noon every Wednesday using the online system provided by the Technology Development Office. 2) Provide a final report within ten (10) days of completion of this contract. The report shall be delivered to the Chief of the Technology Development Office via email. The final report should document the contractor�s notable activities and accomplishments during the contract period of performance. Period of Performance: This is a twelve-month activity, and the award is to start after the period of performance for PR 4200784525 ends, which is April 28,2023.
