- Update 4/6/2023: The Goverment anticipates issuing this solicitation in April 2023. Additional information about locations and approved herbicides has been added in the attachments/links section below. This notice serves to notify interested parties that the Government intends to issue a solicitation for Herbicide Spraying. The contractor shall provide for the pre-emergent control and eradication of target vegatative growth, through the provision and application of chemical herbicides on specified areas at nine recreation areas and twelve locks and dams. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, herbicides, travel time, mobilization, and state licenses necessary to accomplish the specified vegetative control as define in the Performance Work Statement.�� This pre-solicitation notice is for informational pruposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies or services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to response to this pre-solicitation notice or any follow up information requested. Consequently, no solicitation is being issued at this time. Therefore, no award will be made as a result of providing this information.
