- MORU Custodial Services Pre-solicitation Notice The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region, NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to solicit for custodial services at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Keystone, South Dakota. The acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price (base and two (2) option periods), commercial services contract in response to this RFQ. This project will be solicited as Subject to Availability of Funding as even though project is approved, the customer is still waiting on final accounting structures to be established to support the final award. Project Location: National Park Service, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, 13000 Highway 244, Keystone, SD, 57751. Project Description: Include nighttime janitorial services performed at four different facilities within Mt Rushmore National Memorial. All cleaning supplies, cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment will be supplied by Mt Rushmore National Memorial. No other work, other than janitorial services are required, this is a janitorial labor service agreement only. The work of this contract shall be performed to meet all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. The work will consist of cleaning restrooms, and re-supply of consumable paper products, mopping tile floors, vacuuming carpet floors, wiping touchable surfaces, within an interpretative museum or a group of interpretative displays, and collecting trash from restrooms and interior public spaces. Workers must be dressed in uniform or company shirts. Contractors must be licensed if required by the State or local jurisdiction. It is the government�s expectation that contractor crew sizes of between 2 and 3 custodians can complete the scheduled work on a shift, with an onsite working supervisor. The contractor will be required to schedule custodians 7 days per week between the hours of 8 PM and 1 AM each day for each summer period. Specific requirements will be available in the solicitation that will follow. Business Size: The associated NAICS code is 561720 (Janitorial Services). The small business size standard is $22 Million. The applicable PSC Code is: S201. This requirement will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside. Solicitation: The official solicitation package and its attachments to include detailed specifications will be issued and available within the next 3 business days and will be posted to the SAM.gov Website. Contractors are expected to provide detailed quotes and any other information required for submission to the government for review. All offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) to provide a competitive quote.
