- GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Maine City: Portland Delineated Area: City Limits Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 21,205 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 21,629 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 4 Parking Spaces (Surface): 4 Additional Requirements: This procurement is for temporary space, not to exceed 4 years. For the long-term procurement, please refer to notice ID # 0ME2064. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required.� Offered space shall not be in the 500 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies approximately 9,200 ABOA SF of office and related space in a building under a lease in Portland, ME.� The Government has identified a need for 12,005 ABOA SF of expansion space and is considering alternative space for the total requirement of 21,205 ABOA SF if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
