- Description
- The objective is to establish and maintain a continuous, national-scale data collection and cloud-based database archive of unimputed heavy-duty freight truck[1] vehicle trajectory data points�alongside a set of tools that operationalize state-of-the-art, literature-based algorithms and statistical methodologies for converting trajectory data points into meaningful, transportation-oriented statistical outputs�for use as a comprehensive set of transportation statistics on the performance and impacts of the United States� national transportation system and for federal analysis projects related to transportation. The government may optionally expand this objective to include all freight trucks, including all medium-duty and some light-duty trucks.
