NOTICE: This is a Sources Sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing a Rolatube integrated antenna mast system or equal for Aviano AB. The part numbers for a product that meets our specifications is listed below as well as key required salient characteristics for better understanding of the needs of Aviano AB and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The Contracting Officer will review and consider all responses and/or questions received. However, the Contracting Officer is not required to implement any of the feedback and/or suggestions received. IAW FAR 15.201(c) (4), the Contracting Officer may host one-on-one meetings with any or all potential Offerors who provide an adequate response to the RFI/SS, without further public notice. The responses/feedback received in response to this notice will be used to identify and resolve concerns regarding the acquisition strategy to include feasibility of the requirement, commerciality, and industry standards. DETAILS: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS)� code for this acquisition is 334220 -�Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing This requirement serves to provide radio communication capabilities and provide a lightweight portable package with an antenna integrated into the mast reducing amount of personnel required for set up and amount of equipment needed to be transported from one location to another. Vendor must be able to provide a Rolatube portable integrated mast system or equal as detailed below.� Rolatube Items: ANTENNA-IAM D-7m 3"" - PTS PN: ANT-RTL-307005-1-1 (mast itself) ANTENNA MOUNT w/25' RF CABLE - PTS PN: ACC-HDC-50900 (cabling) TOP CAP 3"" F/SINGLE MAST - PTS PN:� ACC-RTL-001050-3-1� (top cap for mast, also using to mount small antenna) SECONDARY COLLAR - 3"" - PTS PN: ACC-RTL-000119� �(part of the mast to setting it up) Key Rquired Salient Characteristics: Antenna and Mast must be integrated into 1 unit �Mast must be at least 6 Meters �Must be capable of UHF/VHF Line of Sight Communication to Aircraft �VHF must be able to handle at least 20watts �UHF must be able to handle at least 50 watts �Packed weight of antenna/mast system must be under 25lbs �Must be able to mount additional lightweight antenna to top of mast �Mast must have a top load of at least 2kg �Must include RF cabling for antennas �Must be able to handle at least 60mph winds � Rolatube Item:� � � � � � �� RAVEN - HF ANTENNA� - PTS Part Number - NT-PTS-000150-2-1 Near vertical Incidence Skywayve (NVIS) HF antenna that must be included and able to mount with the previous mast system Key Required Characteristics: �Must be able to be used with HF Automatic Link Establish (ALE) waveform �Minimum 150watts (preferred 400watts) �Weight under 10lbs Rolatube Item: TWIN-BAR MOUNT - PTS Part Number - ACC-RTL-000036 Key Required Characteristics: �Accessory for Antenna mast. Mount to allow mounting of 2 additional lightweight antennas Rolatube Item: ANTENNA - LINK-16 - PTS PN: ANT-HDC-38300A-3-1 Key Required Characteristics: Must operate in at least the 960-1215Mhz frequency range Must be under 2kg �Minimum of 50watts Rolatube Item: ANTENNA - SQUAD IAM 3.5m 2"" PTS PN: ANT-RTL-203500-1-1 All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum 4-page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be�brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The package shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot/will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM report. CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely based on this notice nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
