The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes, or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Wilmington VA is seeking potential sources for the follow Brand Name Only requirement for Controlled Air Purifying Respirators Brand Name Only requirement for the following Max-Air products Item Quantity P/N CA-DLC-CAPR-36 CAPR System Medium Battery 100 P/N 2061-08 Filter Cover Cap, No Adapters (box of 3) 40 P/N 2500-36TSC Lithium battery, medium 200 P/N 2782-06 Cart, includes 6 battery charging stations 10 P/N 2000-201 Comfort Strips (box of 36) 500 P/N 2365-02ML DLC Lens-Cuff, Med/Lg (box of 40) 100 P/N 2365-02SM DLC Lens-Cuff, Sm/Med (box of 40) 75 P/N 2167-10 XP Pleated Filter Cartridge (box of 3) 40 INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND: The Wilmington VA Medical Center located at 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE is seeking powered air purifying respirators. The vendor shall provide all parts and labor to check in services to confirm correct operation of each device. SCOPE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, (460) Wilmington, Delaware requires Max-Air Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPRs) and required accessories to provide advanced respiratory protection against airborne particulates. The equipment will be utilized both for current use and preparedness for TB, COVID-19 and any other airborne illnesses DELIVERY: Delivery is required, FOB DESTINATION ONLY, within 30 days after date of award. Quotes submitted FOB Origin will not be accepted. Delivery is required to: Department of Veterans Affairs Wilmington VA Medical Center 1601 Kirkwood Highway Attn: Edward Strouse/Marshall Murdaugh Wilmington, DE 19805 Delivery must be coordinated with the Technical POC outlined above.
