Description

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Beckman Coulter, Inc., 250 S Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. COMFRC HQ,� HIAC Fluid Particle Counter Maintenance COMFRC requires preventative maintenance and calicbration services on two HIAC 8011+ Fluid Particle Counter Systems.� Each system requires bi-annual maintenance and calibration.�� Beckman Coulter is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the HIAC systems, and retains all the proprietary /technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary maintenance and calibration.� � Included in the purchase:� -������������ Perform bi-annual preventative maintenance and calibration services for two HIAC Model HRLD-100 Sensors with supported HIAC 8011+ Counters THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
