Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO Haag-Streit USA, Inc. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source to Haag-Streit USA, Inc. 3535 Kings Mills Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040-2303 for the Gold Software Plan, which supports the Eyesi simulator, and will provide the latest training modules, software updates, technical support, and access to the VRmNet training portal with administration features, evaluation tools, and online courses at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice no later than 10:00 am EST, Friday, April 21, 2023 by email to monica.k.wideman.civ@health.mil and cc: stephen.c.tees.civ@health.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the items required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing.
