Description

This is a notice and not a request for proposals. As such, vendors are not to send capability statements or other such documents. The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) is seeking to modernize one (1) existing hole less hydraulic passenger elevator. �The contractor shall provide new: AC motor, solid state microprocessor controls, cab, doors, door operators and all associated work to provide one (1) complete new passenger elevator. This elevator modernization project shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards for this project located at the O.C. Fisher Federal Building, San Angelo, Texas. Note: The O.C. Fisher Federal Building has a total of four (4) floors. This elevator modernization project is a small business set-aside. The small business firm must be an elevator contractor firm under NAICS code is 238290 and the current small business size standard is $19.5 Million; and the elevator contractor firm (prime) must be able to perform 95% of the work for this project. �It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 days to complete. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a �Best Value Concept� methodology.��
