Description

The U.S Agency for International Development's Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation's Hub for Innovation, Technology, and Research (USAID/DDI/ITRT) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for interested socioeconomic (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), small disadvantaged business, women-owned, economically disadvantaged woman owned) �and small business organizations to provide comments, opinions, and recommendations and demonstrate capacity on the approaches for the information in the document below. This RFI is a preliminary call for expressions of interest to provide services for the activity currently titled ""USAID/ITR/T Geospatial Information Technology Institutional Support Mechanism."" This is NOT a solicitation for work or a request for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations, and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of USAID. This RFI is structured with purpose and background information about the illustrative activities of the ITR/T Geospatial Information Technology Institutional Support Mechanism III along with the SOW. Questions will be provided by way of a Google Form and the link to that form is posted in the attached RFI document. USAID is looking to procure the services identified in the SOW using one of the following GSA Multiple Award Schedules:541370GEO, 541370GIS, and 54151S. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by USAID to form a contract.� This posting is strictly to gather �market research� information only. Responses to this RFI are strictly voluntary and USAID will not reimburse respondents for information provided in response to this RFI.� This RFI is to solicit information and potential interest from organizations to provide geospatial analysis, mapping, and remote sensing; data management, practices, and standards; and capacity building and training, depending on demand, at the Mission, Operating Unit, Bureau, Independent Office, and Agency-wide levels.� � �
