Description

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Defense Health Agency, Western Markets Contracting Division hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Priced purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Candela Corporation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions under FAR Part 13 apply. Candela Corporation Unique Entity ID: YKJ1DNBDCE96 CAGE: 52209 251 Locke Dr. Marlborough, MA 01752 The work will be performed at the Dermatology Clinic at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.� The period of performance is 90-days. Candela Corporation will be tasked to provide equipment assessment and preventative maintenance services for the following medical lasers: Candela Laser VBEAM2: SN: 9914-0300-1248 Candela Laser VBEAM2: SN: 9914-0300-3206 Candela Laser GMAX-PRO: SN: 9914-9035-9910 Candela Laser ALEX2: SN: 9914-2025-0451 The applicable PSC is J065. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the size standard is $34.0 (million). This is not a request for quotes. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 4:00PM PDT on 14 April 2023. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
