- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Seagate and Samsung hard drives.� The compliant material is available solely from Seagate and Samsung materials.� The NAICS code is 541519 and the business size is $30 million. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis.� The proposed action is for Seagate brand hard drives and Samsung brand hard drives, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate as a small business set-aside.� The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Seagate and Samsung are the only source of the required items, with no compatible material on the market.� The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. See 52.212-2- EVALUATION. Questions/clarification regarding this solicitation must be submitted no later than April 17, 2023 at 11:59AM.� All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation.
