Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) -�Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 325 FW, 53 WEG, and 28 TES require pickup, removal, cleanup and disposal services of hazardous and environmentally regulated waste. Clean Harbors in AR is the only facility of the four allowed that has dedicated safe havens along the route for material to be stored while couriers adhere to DOT rest requirements for operating a tractor trailer. The classification of this material requires it to be locked at every stop in special hangers/buildings while in transport that had to be approved first by our PSO. Deviation of the approved plan is not authorized. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 1:00 PM CST, 5 May 2023, which shall be considered by the Government.
