The advances in AI technology and its integration with other areas, such as cloud computing and military strategy, are revolutionizing humanity.�As AI continues to experience exponential growth, concerns about its impact on society, privacy, and ethics are also growing.�AI ethics and regulation are crucial in the DoD to mitigate potential unintended consequences, uphold ethical standards, and maintain public trust. Therefore, it is crucial that we understand the implications of AI use and potential unintended consequences. NSWC Corona seeks interest from industry, academia, and state, local and federal entities capable of providing expertise relative to these topics. We are looking for attendees AND presenters. Topics: The AI Tipping Point - Some may argue that we are in the second era of ""enlightenment"" due to the exponential growth of AI and its impact. What are the fastest growing trends? AI Ethics and Safety - Many would argue that a set of standards guiding�AI ethical practices is needed to guide moral conduct when developing and using AI technologies that could drastically change the world for better or worse. How would you intertwine ethics and safety with current AI trends? The Cloud and AI - AI demands large compute and storage capability due to the hundreds of zettabytes of data generated each day. How should an organization approach integrating AI with the cloud, and how do we develop the cloud services? Navy AI Applications - The Navy has constant adversaries that are advancing technology at a scary pace with no guardrails. How can the Navy keep up, and what should we focus on?
