Description

VA NORTHERN INDIANA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM-FORT WAYNE CAMPUS PROJECT: 610A4-20-107 Replace Fire Alarm System Statement of Work: The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to replace the existing fire alarm system with a new campus-wide fire alarm system in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The new system must be nonproprietary meaning the manufacturer allows fair and open competition between vendors selling the fire alarm devices. The manufacturer of the new system must provide certified maintenance and repair training for 2 of the VA�s maintenance personnel in order to keep the majority of the system maintenance in-house. All work is to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care � Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Work is to be completed within 270 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Justification of Work: This project is designed for the replacement of the existing fire alarm system that is out of date and replacement parts can no longer be purchased. at the Fort Wayne VA An organized pre-bid site visit is scheduled for DATE: May 4, 2023@ 10:30 AM EST LOCATION: Bldg. 4, Room 103, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 (MORE DETAIL WILL BE ADDED TO THE SITE AT A LATER DATE)�������������������������������������������
