- Description
- FA821223Q0021 0001 SOLICITATION AMENDMENT ADDS; 01) ATTACHMENT HILL_AFB-CB-06052022 02) ADD VERBAGE: ISO 9001:2000 certification by an accredited certification body (E.g. ANAB) must be provided by the offeror as part of the offerors proposal, and if selected for award, maintained throughout contract performance. 03) CLAUSE 252.227-7025 ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE UNCHANGED AND IN FULL EFFECT BACKPLANE ASSEMBLY,Interface between various CDU circuit card assemblies. Rigid flexprint circuit card and miscellaneous electronic components. NSN: 5998-01-496-7982 FJ estimated quantity 35 each including 1 first article AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE SMALL BUSINESS OFFERER When requesting access to the technical data package (TDP), please email RICHARD.MAYNARD.5@US.AF.MIL with a current copy of your DD2345, JCP printout, and a signed copy of the attached contractor NDA agreement, AFTER requesting access through Betasam.gov THE TDP IS INCOMPLETE AND OBSOLETE, PLEASE READ BELOW The data package was never delivered to the Government as part of a formal delivery and as such has never been vetted. Gerber files are included, however no one besides the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has ever used them and any expertise the OEM had is no longer available to ask questions. As such the Government strongly suspects bidders will need to use None Recurring Engineering to either correct the data and/or make it compatible with modern manufacturing methods. The Government engineer believes any errors or ""holes"" in the data can be overcome by the inspection of an unserviceable one that can be provided at the bidders request. The most glaring issue is an Excel file that is corrupted and unusable. The Government does not know exactly what this file was used for but believe it may have been used in a ""pick and place"" machine as other older circuit board data packages have used. The winning bidder will also be expected to develop an acceptance test. This is a very simple back plane with no internal components like resistors, capacitors or fuses, so a simple by hand continuity test would be acceptable, however the winning bidder is free to develop an automated test should they desire or require one for their internal quality requirements. The Government reserves the right to review this test but it can be in contractor format and will not be used by the Government beyond reviewing it unless the winning bidder grants permission. The winning bidder can request the use the next higher assembly (The Control Data Unit, CDU) as a test bed if they desire.
