Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office (ECO) intends to make contract award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Darwin Chambers Company, LLC, 2945 Washington Ave, St Louis, MO, 63103-1305, for preventive maintenance and remote diagnostic services of ERDC's of (6) walk-in environmental chambers and (3) reach-in controlled environmental chambers. The Darwin Chambers are patented chambers that are only manufactured and sold by Darwin Chambers Company, LLC. The services must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed. Darwin Chambers Company, LLC is the only provider that can offer services, maintenance, upgrades and updates as they become available. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). �The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 with a Size Standard of $34,000,000.��This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for�the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted only by e-mail as a Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, or Adobe PDF attachment to Shinita.M.Jordan@usace.army.mil. Statements are due by 12:00 PM CST 02 May 2023. No phone calls will be accepted.
