- This is a sole source synopsis published for informational purposes only.�� The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/WISK Special Warfare Contracting Office, WPAFB, OH intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Aerial Machine & Tool, Corp. for the procurement of 8-foot and 15-foot Ruck Lowering Lines (part numbers 11-12B30-1 and 11-1-2530-1, respectively).� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals.�� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed source is Aerial Machine & Tool, Corp., 4298 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120-4530.� The reason for the lack of competition is as follows: Aerial Machine & Tool Corp. is currently the only responsible source, and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.� A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All information submitted should support the respondent's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.� Responses shall be in writing and shall provide clear and concise documentation. The Government will consider responses that are received not later than 3:00 PM Eastern, 28 April 2023.� All inquiries and responses may submitted in writing (phone calls will not be accepted) to the POCs indicated in this posting.
