- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office � Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Abbott Laboratories, Inc. for a firm fixed-price contract for Abbott Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay Reagents with use of Analyzers for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii. Abbott Laboratories, Inc. is the only company to provide reagents and analyzers that have already been validated by TAMC�s Core Laboratory. The NAICS code for this procurement if 325413. This requirement is for a period of performance from on or about 1 May 2023 through 30 June 2023.� The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements.
