- N0016423SNB55 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) � VOLTAGE CONTROLLED OSCILLATORS (VCO) HEADS & TRANSFORMERS PSC: 5955 NAIICS: 334419 Issue Date: 25 April 2023 � Closing Date: 26 May 2023 Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division is seeking information from companies that have the capability and facilities for production of Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO) Heads and Transformers in support of the AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Countermeasure System (ECS). GENERAL INFORMATION: Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3, this Request for Information (RFI) is for Planning Purposes only and is issued for conducting market research in accordance with FAR part 10: The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in FAR 31.205-18, bid and proposal costs. Although �proposal� and �offeror� may be used in this RFI, your response will be treated as information only. The Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This RFI is issued as part of market research for AN/ALQ-184 VCO heads and transformers.� This is NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS and no contract will be awarded from this RFI. REQUIREMENTS OVERVIEW: NSWC Crane is requesting information for potential sources for production of Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) Heads and Transformers in support of the AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Countermeasure System (ECS). The following items are of interest: Band 6/7 292-01-05225-04 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 8 292-01-05225-05 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 9 292-01-05225-06 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 10 292-01-05225-07 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 1/2 292-01-05225-01 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 3/4 292-01-05225-02 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head Band 5 292-01-05225-03 Voltage Controlled Oscillator Head P/N 71D1007-5A High Voltage Transformer (T1) Keltec, P/N 85T0056-1���� Heater Transformer (T2) Keltec, P/N 85C0333-1���� Helix Transformer (T3) These assets must integrate with existing equipment in terms of form, fit, function, and capability. The VCOs are part of a Next Higher Assembly (NHA) that forms the core of the AN/ALQ-184 ECS. The Government does not possess rights to the technical data required to manufacture these items. The Government is in the market research stage, exploring potential sources for a 5-year IDIQ, FFP contract. Delivery required is FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Responsible sources with capability and facilities to provide this type of supply, as well as the experience/expertise, may submit a capability statement and the provided Market Research Questionnaire to be considered by the agency. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit the capability statements to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane by 26 May 2023 4:00 PM EST. Any small business that believes they can accomplish this entire requirement should indicate their small business status (see FAR part 19) in their response. At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.
