THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO STRATEGIC ANALYSIS, INC. FOR DEFENSE SCIENCE BOARD (DSB) SUMMER STUDY SUPPORT SERVICES.� The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Level-of-Effort (LOE) term contract to Strategic Analysis, Inc, (4075 Wilson BLVD STE 200, Arlington, Virginia 22203-2141), in order to provide professional analytical and administrative support services in support of the DSB and the DSB Office. The Contractor �will support DSB Summer Studies, Quick Task Forces (QTF), and day-to day internal and external administrative operations. Typical tasks include research, report writing, document preparation, document publication, statistical analyses, correspondence, scheduling, travel support, administration of security matters, telephonic and email correspondence, and similar tasks. The DSB requires a bridge contract for Summer Study Support while a competitive acquisition is conducted and awarded by the second quarter of FY 2024. The bridge contract will maintain continuity of services provided under the existing contract (HQ003418C0004), currently performed by incumbent contractor Strategic Analysis, Inc. �The current contract is set to expire on 30 April 2023. The proposed contract action period of performance will be from May 01, 2023 through February 29, 2024 (10 Months). This procurement is being executed pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures �and10 U.S.C. 3204, Use of Procedures Other Than Competitive Procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.� �
