- 36C25923Q0412 Page 1 of Page 8 of 8 Page 1 of The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for Medical Gas System Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to perform Medical Gas System Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance. Services shall include but are not limited to the following: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC) located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, Colorado, 80045 requires services to perform inspections, maintenance, and testing of the medical gas distribution system and the medical air compressor/dryer/vacuum equipment within the medical facility. This requirement includes elements of compressors, dryers, vacuum pumps, and all bulk bottle systems at RMRVAMC. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment and quality control to perform the services required at RMRVAMC. Objectives 2.1 Test, inspect and certify all equipment that store, generate, and supply oxygen, compressed air, compressed carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, and mixed gases, the associated compressed air dryer, and medical vacuum equipment to specified areas within the medical facility. 2.2 Provide preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs to all equipment that store, generate, and supply oxygen, compressed air, compressed carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, nitric oxide, nitrous, hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, argon, Acetyle, and mixed gases, the associated compressed air dryer, and medical vacuum equipment to specified areas within the medical facility. 2.3 Provide articulating boom inventory and inspection in accordance with NFPA 99-2012. 2.4 Provide basic training to staff for handling of medical gas and vacuum systems. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
