Description

ITEMS IDENTIFIED SHOULD FURNISH ADEQUATE INFORMATION WITH THE QUOTE TO ENSURE THAT A DETERMINATION CAN BE MADE AS TO THE EQUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS REQUESTED. PLEASE PROVIDE WARRANTY INFORMATION AND DELIVERY DATE.THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT AND WILL NOT OBLIGATE ANY THE GOVERNMENT TO ANY CONTRACT. The requirement for this sources sought is a 4 to 6 lane firing simulator that can accurately simulate realistic weapon recoil, engage targets at distance, and utilize a spotter for engagements. The required weapon systems are M4, M18, M240B, and M1110. The performance levels/specifications may be identified as targets rather than fixed or minimum requirements. The aim is to encourage competition and ensure the requirements align with industry standard practices while being realistic and definable. The simulator should include an accurate ballistics engine, the ability to conduct mission rehearsal, replicate long-range engagements in a classroom setting, train for windage, elevation, and distance factors without live fire, and network multiple weapon and optic platforms together with the same scenario for collective training. The listed items below are to provide an understanding of the what the government is looking for but vendors are encouraged to present their own capabilities.
