Description

Notice of Intent of sole source for Reset Structural Collapse for Homeland Response Force (HRF) for Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) the TXARNG intends to award a sole source purchase order to Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) to provide Structural Collapse Simulators (SCS) to simulate the collapsed state of buildings due to a natural disaster or a domestic terrorism event. This purchase order is to provide the TXARNG HRF the ability for a reset structural collapse venue each day to prepare for training in a simulated natural disaster involving structural collapse of building including training props, support to setup, customization of the exercise, and access to the Disaster City Training site for all exercise skill and scenarios. The anticipated period of performance is 2-4 June 2023. Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is the sole organization authorized to execute the reset structural collapse in College Station, TX. This special notice/intent to sole-source is not a request for quote/proposal.� Any interested party that is believed to be capable of meeting the requirement and is authorized to perform this task as mentioned shall identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement by 11:00AM CST on 11 May 2023.� Responses must be submitted in writing to Contract Specialist Mary Lockett at mary.l.lockett.civ@army.mil.� Late submissions will not be evaluated.� Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. �A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses or lack thereof to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
