Description

STATEMENT OF NEED GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Mental Health and Domiciliary has executed a new lease/build that will consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8501 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, has a requirement for kitchen freezers, refrigerators, ice machine, ice bin and ice maker. Kitchen freezer, refrigerator, ice machine, ice bin and ice maker located in the Kitchen area within Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic. BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic has a requirement for kitchen freezers, refrigerators, ice machine, ice bin and ice maker. PURPOSE: The reach-in freezer, reach-in refrigerator, equipment stand, salad preparation refrigerator, undercounter refrigerator, ice machine, ice bin and ice maker are required for Nutrition Food Services to store perishable food and to prepare meal for Domiciliary patients/veterans. SCOPE: JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic is requesting contractors to provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of Nutrition Food Services department.
