- This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation orrequest for off ers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not behonored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, of White Plains, NY.,�to provide a full service plan, which covers Protect Premium Service Agreement XRM (2 PM): � Two (2)* preventative maintenance inspections per agreement year. This includes all labor and travel associated with conducting the PM inspection visits. � All labor and travel related charges associated with any service visit in addition to the PM visit as may be required during the contract year, is included. � All covered replacement part. � 10% Discount on Consumable Purchases. � 10% Discount on Instrument Upgrades � Scheduled and emergency service performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday excluding Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC holidays. � Factory trained Field Service Engineers. . The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with the size standardof $34M. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is J052. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding thesimplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement prior to the closing date/time, for consideration in future requirements. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a future competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order, based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the�Government.
