- Description
- The National Guard Bureau (NGB) Operational Contracting Division (AQ-C) hereby issues an intent of the Government to award a sole source contract to the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Contractor shall provide services to accommodate between 650 - 800 guests. The Government will be paying for food and drink, including the Anniversary dinner. This anticipated contract will cover providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to host the 30th Anniversary State Partnership Program (SPP). Additionally, this purchase order will provide facilities, services, and equipment to host the 30th SPP Anniversary Event on the evening of July 17, 2023, within 15 miles of the Pentagon National Capital Region (NCR), capable of accommodating 650-800 guests. The Gaylord Hotel has been determined as the only source capable of holding the event in the NCR during this time frame. The unique features of the Gaylord Hotel prohibit competition for food and beverage services because the hotel does not allow outside caterers.
